Loving God,
open my eyes.
Fill me with patience.
Provide me with strength.
Clothe me with love.
Remind me I need
only bread for today.
In your hands, dear God,
you hold my future.
Free me from fear.
Remind me to lean on you.
Thank you.

The Bloom
Up from the earth
comes the little, green shoot.
It reaches for the sun
and drinks in the rain.
Each day brings new growth.
Each day brings the promise of life.

Life
May the wonder of life
never cease to amaze.
May the joy in each moment
give you reason to praise.
May you always remember
how special you are.
May you treasure the gift
we are given each day.
May you stop now and then
to feel the wind in your hair
and watch the birds,
as they float in the air.
Remember to tell those you love
just how precious they are.
And when you look up at night,
wish on a star

Summer
I feel the grass beneath my feet.
I smell the flowers’ perfume sweet.
I taste the fruit fresh from the tree.
I hear the birds as they sing to me.
I touch the blossom on the vine.
I know life is a gift divine.

The Stars
I went to the window to greet the day.
But all the stars had gone away.
"Oh no," I thought, "Where can they be?
Perhaps they are afraid of me."
But when I looked up again,
I saw their shining faces grin.
"We were never out of sight.
We were shining through the night."
At times, my eyes fail to see
the beauty right in front of me.
Little details of the day
quickly pass along the way.

After The Storm
The rain washed the sky.
The sun beamed down upon the earth.
The clouds were washed in golden light.
I was shown a piece of heaven.

Christmas
May you be filled with Christmas cheer,
and may it fill your heart in the coming year.
May you greet those you meet each day
with a smile to cheer them on their way.
May you treat each day like a gift from above,
and enjoy the time you have with those you love.
May you bring something good to all you do,
and let your love and joy come shining through.
May you be filled with wisdom and grace,
and may you live life at an unhurried pace.
May you be the miracle you were meant to be,
and always look for the beauty that is there is to see.
